Description
We are seeking a Consultant Psychologist to work on our inpatient CAMHS and EDU ward at Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal, Stockport.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Psychology to deliver the strategic direction of the service and ensure excellence in patient experience and outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the development of audit services
- Supporting the development and delivery of behavioural and other psychological interventions for patients
- Providing consultation to the Head of Psychology and Senior Managers as required
- Working within clinical and research governance initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant Master's degree
- HCPC Registration
- Confident grasp of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Proficiency in at least two other therapeutic modalities
- Experience in working with complex clients and delivering highly specialist interventions
- Leadership and management experience
- Proven skills in service planning and development
