Professional Services Consultant

Zscaler, a leading company in security transformation in the AI era, is seeking an experienced Professional Services Consultant to join its team in Japan. As a Professional Services Consultant, you will be part of the Professional Services team and report to the Senior Manager of Professional Services.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth analysis of customer environments and requirements, creating design plans, configuring, and integrating Zscaler solutions to ensure optimal usage of the Zscaler Zero Trust platform.
• Ensuring client needs are met and deliverables are produced on time as defined in the Statement of Work.
• Providing deployment services, including best practice design, recommendations, and configuration.
• Maintaining and advancing expertise in deploying advanced Zscaler product features and functionality.
• Assisting customers with testing and troubleshooting during deployment, and collaborating with Technical Account Managers and support teams as needed.

To qualify for this role, you should have:

• At least 3 years of prior work experience in similar positions, such as Professional Consultant, Solutions Architect, Security Architect, Technical Marketing Engineer, or Security Support Engineer.
• Ability to work on-site in projects and collaborate with customers and partner engineers.
• Experience deploying and maintaining large-scale networking, firewall, or security solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of IPSEC, GRE, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS protocols, Proxy and SSL, and authentication systems such as SAML, LDAP, and MS Active Directory.
• Fluency in Japanese with intermediate business English proficiency.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Knowledge of Internet and Routing Protocols, Internet and Security technologies.
• Familiarity with Authentication and SAML/Identity Provider (IdP) systems.
• Understanding of Web-based security and network infrastructure solutions, and Traffic Forwarding and Policy-Based Routing concepts.
• Experience with AI-driven threat intelligence, automated policy enforcement, or AI security frameworks.
