Carpenter All Around

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter All Around to join our team at Ford Motor Company in Southeast Michigan locations. As a Carpenter All Around, you will be responsible for performing various carpentry tasks, including installing, repairing, and maintaining buildings, equipment, and facilities.

Pay and Benefits: You will be paid a top hourly base rate of $44.635, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. The starting rate for this position is $44.435 with pay increases to the top rate upon completion of three consecutive months of employment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks of the trade, including standing for extended periods, walking unassisted, working at heights, and manipulating tools typical of the trade.
• Learn and follow safety rules and procedures, work in a team environment, treat co-workers with dignity and respect, and accept and follow instructions and requests from leadership.
• Understand and follow instructions, both oral and in writing.

Qualifications:

• Completed a bona fide apprenticeship, or have 8 years of previous experience, or have a combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade.
• Proficient in installing, repairing, and maintaining various carpentry-related tasks, including furniture and hardware, stairs, scaffolding, and wood platforms.
