Senior Global Operations Associate - Air freight

The role of the Senior Global Operations Associate is a critical part of making Flexport's mission a reality. You will be responsible for ensuring that all customer shipments are executed according to plan, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the highest standard of Flexport quality: shipments move on-time and exceptions are handled appropriately
• Satisfy internal KPIs and SLAs that demonstrate quality delivery
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Solve client issues quickly and ensure smooth operations at origin and destination
• Coordinate day-to-day logistics operations with internal and external partners
• Execute the end-to-end movement of freight shipments within a regional network

Prerequisites:

• BA/BS Degree or completed professional training as forwarding agent
• 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding, and direct Air export experience
• Fluent in French and English
• Able to adapt to new technology and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Effective time management, prioritization, and task management
• Attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Orientation towards working smarter and adopting best practices
• Problem-solving capabilities
• A 'compliance first' attitude
