Description
We are seeking a Senior Clinical Counselling Psychologist with Research to join our award-winning organisation. Freedom From Torture is dedicated to healing and protecting people who have survived torture. We provide therapies to improve physical and mental health, medical documentation of torture, and legal and welfare assistance. We also expose torture globally, fight to hold torturing states accountable, and campaign for fairer treatment of torture survivors in the UK.
The successful candidate will have a salary range of £64,033 to £74,278 per year. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our office in London.
The role involves:
- Providing clinical counselling services to survivors of torture
- Conducting research to improve our understanding of trauma and its effects
- Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team
- Contributing to our campaigns and advocacy efforts
