The HR Advisor supports a broad range of Human Resources activities that advance business priorities, enhance the employee experience, and contribute to the success of leaders and their teams.

Key Responsibilities

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP AND ADVISORY

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on talent strategy, team development, and organisational effectiveness.
  • Align HR initiatives with business objectives by providing HR best practices and relevant external perspectives.
  • Support change-management and leadership-development initiatives.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS AND ENGAGEMENT

  • Promote a positive work environment by providing proactive employee-relations support.
  • Guide conflict resolution and conduct workplace investigations when necessary.
  • Drive employee-engagement initiatives and provide coaching to managers and team members.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

  • Manage the annual performance-review process and support goal-setting and feedback discussions.
  • Advise leaders on performance concerns and employee-development planning.

HR OPERATIONS AND COMPLIANCE

  • Support compliance with applicable local labour laws and internal policies.
  • Support the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.

HRIS AND REPORTING

  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity in the HRIS (Workday) and prepare reports for audits and workforce planning.
  • Process employment and personal-data changes and support Payroll by responding to requests and providing accurate information.

ONBOARDING AND OFFBOARDING

  • Facilitate new-hire orientation and employee offboarding processes.
  • Ensure personnel files and HR documentation are maintained accurately and promptly.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

  • Collaborate with Corporate HR teams, including Benefits, Learning and Development, Legal, and Immigration, to support employee needs.
  • Maintain internal HR resources, policies, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence teams and their leaders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and directly with employees at all levels, vendors, and other third parties.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to assess situations, identify appropriate options, and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Thorough understanding of administrative and office procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong business acumen and an understanding of different functional areas, with the ability to balance employee needs with the company's business objectives.
