Senior Solutions Architect - Digital Natives

As a Senior Solutions Architect at Databricks, you will be an expert-level technical leader responsible for the organisation's most complex customer engagements in the Nordics region, specifically with Startup & Digital Native customers. You will drive consumption strategy, own executive-level relationships, and serve as the definitive technical authority for your accounts.

You will:

• Drive technical and consumption strategy in partnership with Account Executives
• Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the broader cloud ecosystem and 3rd-party applications
• Be a champion for both customers and colleagues, operating as an expert architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence platform
• Lead the most complex architecture engagements: multi-workload platforms, enterprise-wide migrations, real-time systems, and AI/ML at scale
• Contribute to Field Engineering thought leadership through customer-facing content, workshops, and community engagement
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use-case prioritisation and on building technical champions

Requirements:

• 8+ years in solutions architecture, principal engineering, technical pre-sales leadership, or a senior customer-facing technical role
• Strong AI-Builder mindset; Expert-level coding proficiency , Python, SQL, and ideally Spark/PySpark
• Proven track record of driving consumption growth and platform adoption with customers
• Strong technical architecture skills with deep expertise in enterprise data technologies
• Expert-level cloud platform knowledge (Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP or equivalent depth in competing modern data platforms)
• Declared technical specialisation with recognised depth
• Executive presence and strong strategic thinking
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline
