Senior Operations Data Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Operations Data Analyst to join our team. As a senior individual contributor, you will report to the Head of Operations Data and coordinate day-to-day with the broader team and functional stakeholders. You will own systems end-to-end, including data models, ETL, applications, and stakeholder relationships, with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities:

• 45% Build & integration: new data models, ETL/API integrations, and app support
• 25% Platform maintenance & data quality: OPSDB stewardship, sync reliability, alerting, production support
• 15% Governance & technical debt: RBAC, scoped roles, dbt semantic layer, documentation
• 15% Mingomba support & cross-functional mentorship: commitments register, peer mentorship, and skill growth
• 5% Other tasks

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data operations
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills (PostgreSQL)
• Proven ETL and API integration experience
• Experience with AI (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.)
• Dbt, cloud tooling (AWS/S3), finance-systems (NetSuite/Tipalti), or geospatial data a plus
• Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn about mineral exploration
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with domain experts
• Excitement about joining a fast-growing early-stage company and comfort with a dynamic work environment
• Valid passport and willingness to travel for work

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $125,000 per year, plus equity and benefits including 401k matching.
