Physical Therapist I - Outpatient Pediatrics

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist I to join our Outpatient Pediatrics team at Atrium Health Stanly. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will provide direct therapy services to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating patients, developing care plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and create individualized care plans
• Provide direct therapy services to patients, including modalities, procedures, and exercise programs
• Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and other clinical staff
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and Rehab Techs/Aides as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Applicable state license for Physical Therapy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric physical therapy experience preferred

Work Environment:

• Flexible hours, with clinic hours from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Ability to lift patients, equipment, or supplies up to 50 pounds
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking required
