  • Be accountable for the preparation, drafting and response to legal documentation, bundles, evidence and witness statements, making sure your team delivers to a high standard
  • Act as a specialist legal resource for operational and frontline teams, providing advice and training that supports residents and safeguards NHG
  • Flag and prioritise high-risk cases, anticipate risks and propose mitigations, and manage legal spend in line with budget and the legal services framework

  • Qualified Solicitor of England and Wales with a valid Practising Certificate, able to undertake and supervise reserved activities as defined by the Legal Services Act 2007, with at least 2 years' PQE
  • Expert knowledge of housing law, landlord and tenant legislation and litigation processes, gained in a social housing legal department in private practice, a housing association or a local authority

  • Generous pension scheme
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption pay in addition to statutory entitlements (qualifying period may apply)
  • Employee assistance - free confidential advice and counselling services provided by independent specialist organisations
  • Health cash plan
  • Staff discounts - we give our staff access to discounts at hundreds of major retailers, gyms, restaurants, entertainment, days out, insurance, and much more
  • Interest free loans - season ticket loan, tenancy deposit loan, and training loan
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Life Assurance x 4 annual salary
