Vice President, Settlement and Collateral Services

We are seeking a Vice President to lead the Settlement and Collateral Services function across HKEX Clearing Houses. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business and operational initiatives relating to collateral management, with a particular focus on repo and fixed income products.

The role requires strong leadership, execution and stakeholder management capabilities to effectively coordinate internal and external stakeholders, balance competing priorities, proactively resolve issues, and deliver results within established timelines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing the Collateral Services team
• Driving the development and enhancement of collateral management services
• Leading and participating in strategic projects, system infrastructure, new product launches, and regulatory-driven enhancements
• Planning, prioritizing, and allocating team resources to meet business requirements and operational priorities
• Identifying opportunities for process transformation and automation to enhance efficiency, scalability, and risk management
• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders on operational readiness, risk control, service enhancement, and issue resolution
• Fostering a high-performance culture by developing team capabilities and promoting collaboration

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 12 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, including substantial middle to back-office operations experience
• Strong hands-on experience and in-depth product knowledge of repo transactions and fixed income products
• Proven track record in leading business initiatives, operational enhancements, system implementations, or market infrastructure developments
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• University degree, preferably in Finance or Business Administration
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese
