Description
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as a Financial Accounting Manager. You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our financial records and compliance with statutory and government reporting requirements.
As Financial Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and developing the Financial Accounting team
- Ensuring the effective operation of the General Ledger and Projects Ledger
- Providing expert technical advice on financial accounting matters
- Preparing high-quality financial papers and briefings for senior stakeholders
- Maintaining a robust financial control and governance framework
- Driving continuous improvement across financial processes and systems
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified CCAB accountant with strong Excel skills and experience in building and maintaining strong working relationships within teams and with external stakeholders.
In return for your hard work, you will receive a salary of £47,084 - £51,402 per year, plus a range of benefits including a Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.
