Description
As a Cybersecurity Sales Specialist, you will own Anthropic's security business across key accounts in sectors such as financial services, healthcare and life sciences, or technology.
You will lead security strategies with Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), collaborating with Account Executives to drive opportunities and deploy Claude, Anthropic's AI solution, to tackle complex security challenges.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and closing security business deals from initial conversations with CISOs' teams through contract and expansion phases
- Creating security pipelines with Account Executives through existing accounts, outbound efforts, security leaders, events, and partnerships
- Leading with customer-centric approaches focusing on vulnerability detection and mitigation, application security, security operations, and secure AI deployment
- Partnering with Applied AI engineers on discovery, proof of concepts, and architecture
- Guiding customers through security reviews, verification processes, and procurement
- Educating Account Executives on identifying and qualifying security opportunities
- Providing feedback from security teams to product, safeguards, and marketing teams
The ideal candidate will have experience in closing complex enterprise deals involving security organizations, preferably in industries like financial services, healthcare, or technology.
Strong candidates may also possess:
- Experience selling security solutions in targeted industries
- Familiarity with AI, developer, or data platform products
- Hands-on experience as a security practitioner or sales engineer
The annual compensation range for this role is $380,000-$450,000 USD, reflecting both base salary and target sales commissions.
