Job Summary You'll work in a fast-paced environment, using your skills and talents to serve and care for our patients and customers. You'll be responsible for managing assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks, supporting the team's ability to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions, and providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's productivity and accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient and customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications, maintaining patient confidentiality, and adhering to regulatory compliance standards
- Develop your clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge and expertise through available tools and training
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Licensure requirements vary by state
- Attention and focus, with the ability to concentrate on tasks without distraction
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Strong mathematical reasoning skills, with the ability to calculate day's supply of prescriptions
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for long periods, and bend or stoop as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- PTCB National Certification
