Description
Join Graphcore's Graduate Programme as a Firmware Engineer in Bristol, UK, starting in September 2027.
As a Graduate Firmware Engineer, you'll work on firmware for Graphcore's next-generation products, designing, developing, and delivering software that supports hardware bootup, power control, telemetry, and monitoring.
You'll collaborate with silicon and hardware teams, writing firmware to Graphcore standards, reviewing code, contributing to technical discussions, and investigating issues.
During the two-year programme, you'll build your understanding of embedded software enabling complex hardware systems through hands-on firmware development, investigating issues, and developing problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver firmware for Graphcore's next-generation products
- Work closely with silicon and hardware teams
- Write firmware to Graphcore standards
- Review code and contribute to technical discussions
- Investigate issues and resolve problems
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Maths, or a related field
- Introductory experience with C or Python
- Understanding of continuous integration, build systems, and software packaging best practices
- Interest in real-time embedded software, verification, or complex embedded platforms
