We are seeking a Shift Lead - Food to join our team in Charlton.

Week 2: Sunday 13:00 - 21:00 Monday 05:00 - 13:00 Wednesday 05:00 - 13:00 Thursday 05:00 - 13:00 Friday 05:00 - 13:00
As a Shift Lead, you will lead the fill operation, delivering a salesfloor that is ready to trade, taking operational responsibility for coordinating resource to Serve, Sell and Fill. You will also lead the floor in the absence of the Colleague Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating resource to deliver operational tasks during the fill operation
- Leading the fill operation, coaching colleagues on One Best Way and driving productivity in readiness for store opening
- Allocating resource effectively to deliver a quick payment experience
- Enabling all daily operational processes to be implemented efficiently across their area of the store
- Coordinating the team to deliver a clean, safe and well-presented store
- Role modelling great Customer Service and M&S behaviours
- Supporting Colleague Managers by sharing observations of colleagues to help deliver high performance and recognise great colleagues
- Supporting nearby stores if operationally required
- Being a key holder and answering call outs as required
- Performing tasks related to the opening and closing of the building
Additional Information Due to operational requirements, all successful candidates may be asked to work up to full-time hours in the weeks commencing 13th and 20th December.
Unsocial Hours Premium A £3.00 per hour unsocial premium is added to any hours worked between 22:00 - 06:00.
