Description
As an Event Coordinator at TransPerfect, you will coordinate and oversee the scheduling, planning, and logistics of trade shows, conferences, and employer marketing events.
You will assist sales and marketing teams in determining and executing strategy, focus areas, and tactics at conferences, and liaise with conference organizers and attendees to ensure a strong presence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating trade shows to ensure consistency and collaboration while following established guidelines, processes, and procedures
- Educating cross-functional teams and establishing workflow solutions where necessary
- Understanding business goals behind each event to maximize company ROI
- Deploying event technology options to support conferences and events
- Managing trade show and event contracts, including processing invoices and tracking payments and budgets
- Working with approved promotional vendors to source enticing giveaways and promotional items
- Executing, supporting, and managing various tasks, such as creating pre-show briefing documents, evaluating booth requirements, and coordinating logistics with third-party suppliers
- Providing regular updates to keep clients informed about upcoming events and deadlines
For networking events and TransPerfect-sponsored trade show parties, you will source and book venues, plan events, and attend on-site to help orchestrate.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
