DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Development and Release Engineering team, which specialises in Continuous Integration. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work as a technical liaison with development teams to address build issues and improvements. You will develop and maintain automation pipelines in our CI system, design and implement automated workflows, monitor automation systems, and manage virtual infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams to resolve build issues and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain automation pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Gitlab pipelines
• Design, prototype, and implement automated workflows with internal customers
• Monitor automation systems and proactively respond to breakages
• Analyse metrics to optimise automation systems
• Manage virtual infrastructure, including deploying and monitoring VMs

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Build, or Systems Engineering, with a proven track record of supporting software development lifecycles
• Solid experience in designing, creating, and maintaining complex CI/CD automation systems and pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
• Strong scripting capabilities in languages such as Python, Groovy, or PowerShell, combined with experience in Infrastructure as Code tools and containerization
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to act as a technical liaison and collaborate with diverse technical and business stakeholders
