As an Elkvalitetsingenjör within data analysis and measurement technology at Vattenfall Eldistribution AB, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of electricity distribution. You will work at the intersection of electrical power, measurement technology, data analysis, and digital development.
Your responsibilities will include managing and developing systems and processes for collecting, storing, and processing electricity quality data. You will analyze how electricity quality measurements are conducted, develop methods for quality assurance, structure, and combine large datasets from various measurement systems and data sources. Additionally, you will represent the business perspective in the development of analysis solutions in Databricks and other modern data platforms, convert complex measurement data into usable information through visualizations, participate in meter testing, laboratories, and verification of measurement and analysis methods, contribute to electricity quality competence in development and innovation projects, and help develop future information models for electricity quality using AI to create new insights into the behavior of the electricity network.
To qualify for this role, you have post-secondary education in electrical power, energy, data technology, technical physics, or equivalent. Experience in the electrical power industry and several years of experience working with data communication and collection of measurement data from technical systems are also required. Merits include experience in electricity quality and measurement, measurement standards and algorithms, programming and data analysis in Python, SQL, or similar languages, data platforms such as Databricks, Spark, or equivalent analysis environments, network calculations, network analysis, or electricity network design, and knowledge of AI, machine learning, or modern analysis platforms.
