LGV 2 Driver AM

We are seeking an LGV 2 Driver to join our team at our Ipswich Depot. As an LGV 2 Driver, you will be responsible for driving various modes of LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins from our trade waste customers.

This is a great job if you like to work using your own initiative in the outdoors, carrying out a role where you can make a difference to the local environment and communities.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders
• Collect and empty bins from trade waste customers
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
• Maintain good communication and customer service skills

Requirements

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
• Good communication and customer service skills
