Marketing Communications Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Communications Lead to join our team at Pave, a company that provides a compensation platform combining real-time compensation data with AI and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership as a critical member of the marketing team and a trusted voice across the business.
• Own Pave's external communications strategy and operating rhythm across critical channels.
• Work with internal and external creative teams to make our brand world-class, unique, differentiated, and beloved.
• Hire and engage the right PR resources to grow our earned media position.
• Think creatively about shaping our points of view and bringing them to market through internal, external, analyst, and media partners.
• Own the marketing website, including its roadmap and evolution.
• Find and tell customer stories that set Pave apart.
• Lead and develop members of the marketing team.
• Define and track communications metrics, including share of voice and brand awareness.
• Manage the communications budget.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Marketing, Demand Growth, or a similar field.
• Proven experience in marketing communications, PR, or brand marketing, ideally at a B2B technology company.
• Experience leading and developing a team, and managing agencies and freelancers.
• Strong storytelling and messaging skills.
• Experience with media relations, executive communications, and reputation or crisis communications.
• Fluency in marketing channel metrics and quantitative and qualitative research.
• Excellent project management, written and verbal communication, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

• Targeted cash compensation: $160,000-$170,000 Base + Equity
