Mobile Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Engineer to join our team at ABM UK, based in Heathrow, London. As a Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining plumbing and mechanical fixtures on site.

Role Overview and Purpose Your primary responsibility will be to repair all plumber and mechanical fixtures on the contract, as well as perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on water hygiene assets in line with the SFG20. You will also be expected to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and arrange quotations for remedial jobs over £500.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and reactive repairs to plumbing accessories in accordance with current regulations, standards, and manufacturer's instructions
• Demonstrate mechanical and electrical general competence
• Carry out quoted work repairs and light installation work on gas equipment across our network of sites
• Complete a weekly time sheet correctly and submit it to your line manager
• Submit expenses weekly with all supporting receipts
• Complete all necessary paperwork for the customer whilst on site and obtain a customer's signature to enable the job attended to be invoiced without any delays
• Identify lifecycle replacement requirements

Requirements

• Plumbing level 2 & 3 NVQ
• L8 Qualified
• IPAF, PASMA
• Understanding of SFG20 and ability to deliver works to a timescale
• Preferred to have NVQ in Mechanical and/or electrical to backup gas qualifications
