Description
The Cyber Security Data Protection service at Ford is responsible for enabling a securely connected digital business and preventing the unauthorized disclosure of the company's most sensitive data. As a CyberSecurity Data Protection Analyst, you will play a crucial role in increasing the company's security posture against data loss.
Responsibilities:
- Remediate DLP alerts and perform analysis for triage and escalation
- Analyze and aggregate data loss prevention data to support the enhancement and tuning of existing policies and determine additional controls
- Analyze global data loss prevention data to provide metric reporting
- Conduct new hire orientation and DLP training
- Establish and manage relationships with key business stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into deliverables and negotiate feasibility with available tooling and resources
- Define, implement, and support process and technology improvements related to preventing unauthorized disclosure, modification, removal, or destruction of information
- Serve as a DLP subject matter expert within the organization
- Collaborate on the DLP rule development lifecycle, including policy development, response rules, and maintenance
- Support potential breach investigations and have knowledge of relevant data privacy and protection regulations
- Perform enhanced monitoring activities and provide resolution to involved stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 1+ year of experience in a cybersecurity role
- Advanced English proficiency
- Experience in Data Protection or Information security roles
- Basic to mid-level knowledge in query languages
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, proficiency in Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic to mid-level knowledge in KQL
- Knowledge of MS Defender, MS Sentinel, and/or MS Pureview
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated integrity in a professional environment
- Process-driven mindset; can-do, find-a-way attitude
- Ability to work independently, manage work to ensure quality, and on-time delivery
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and advise team members

- Experience with data analysis and collaborative tools
- Experience with RSA-Archer Case Management tool
