The Corporate Strategy team partners with EA's executive leadership to shape the company's long-term direction and drive enterprise-wide strategic decision-making. As a Sr. Associate, Business Strategy - Enterprise, you will own workstreams end-to-end and drive insights that inform senior leaders across the C-Suite, commercial, marketing, and technology organisations.
You will report to the Sr. Director, Business Strategy - Enterprise. This role is hybrid, 3 days a week in the office in Redwood City, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Lead structured, hypothesis-driven analyses across high-priority topics within EA's Experiences business, defining problems, scoping workstreams, and driving projects from ambiguity to actionable recommendations.
- Synthesise complex data, market intelligence, and internal perspectives into clear narratives for senior leaders, translating insights into practical recommendations that inform business decisions, growth strategies, and operational priorities.
- Work across publishing, commercial, marketing, advertising, technology, and corporate teams to align on strategic priorities.
- Analyse shifts in consumer behaviour, game development, technology, and market landscapes to uncover trends that shape EA's strategic direction.
- Monitor advancements in AI, game technology, and coding practices to uncover opportunities.
- Assess competitors, adjacent industries, and ecosystem players to identify risks and opportunities.
- Contribute to and, in some cases, lead discrete initiatives such as new business incubation, partnership evaluations, or strategic planning efforts tied to Experiences-related growth areas.
- Partner with central technology and AI teams to support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, including the rollout and adoption of new platforms, tools, and capabilities, ensuring alignment between corporate strategy and technology roadmaps.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a related role in technology, media, advertising, or gaming.
- Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions) and PowerPoint, with the ability to translate data into stories and experience with financial modelling.
- Familiarity with AI tools and data-driven approaches to strategy.
