Process Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a Process Shift Supervisor to join our team at our Poplars Anaerobic Digestion plant in Cannock.

As a Process Shift Supervisor, you will efficiently organise and supervise the operation of an anaerobic digestion plant, ensuring health and safety and environmental compliance, while driving continuous improvement in productivity, plant availability, and sub-product quality.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and controlling plant resources, including people and equipment
• Ensuring productivity and availability exceed minimum defined standards
• Controlling material flow into and out of the process
• Providing accurate and detailed records of plant operations
• Supporting engineering functions in developing planned preventative maintenance programmes
• Analysing and reviewing maintenance activities, cost control, health and safety, and service KPIs

Essential requirements:

• Experience as a Process Supervisor or similar role
• Experience of people and health and safety management in a unionised and multi-shift environment
• Understanding of the waste industry and relevant laws
• Proven track record of working to clearly defined service delivery KPIs
• Good communication and planning skills
