Description
We are looking for a Java/Scala Developer to join a dynamic team at an investment bank. The successful candidate will be part of an application development team responsible for building the firm's strategic data mart for ISG deposits.
The data mart will source data from the golden source and DAL, and feed it into the data mart in real-time. The data will then be made available through a consolidated interface, allowing downstream systems to easily extract reports across multiple data marts.
As a Java/Scala Developer, you will be involved in designing, building, and enhancing the SQL projection broker in DAL for Leto deposits, as well as the real-time reporting infrastructure. You will also develop and support multiple regulatory and business reports for Leto deposits, and participate in database and ETL development.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in Java, Scala, or other programming languages, and strong skills in scripting languages such as Python and Unix/K-Shell. Experience with Agile development and relational databases is also essential.
The team uses an agile methodology based on Scrum, Kanban Jira Boards, and XP best practices. You will be expected to work collaboratively within a larger team and communicate effectively with operations partners.

Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and enhance the SQL projection broker in DAL for Leto deposits

- Create efficient testing automation for Java/Scala/Python processes
Requirements:
- Strong in Java/Scala or other programming languages with 7+ years of experience
- Strong skills in scripting languages such as Python and Unix/K-Shell
- Experience with Agile development and relational databases
