Consultant Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist in our GTS Technology department.

Principal responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Analysts and Developers to create acceptance criteria and ensure acceptance tests reflect desired functionality
• Evaluate functional and non-functional requirements for testability and suitability for automation testing
• Design, script, execute test automation scenarios and document test results
• Increase coverage of test automation packs and pass rate in testing cycles
• Participate in release activities and provide automation testing QA sign-offs
• Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary Agile team

Knowledge and Experience/Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field
• Good understanding of software testing concepts, testing lifecycle, and defect management process
• Ability to analyse business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to create effective test scenarios and test cases
• Hands-on experience in executing test cases, test plans for functional testing and regression testing
• Ability to work under pressure to complete tasks in tight schedules and ensure product quality
• Highly motivated individual with positive and proactive attitude
