Senior AI Product Manager, Code

We are seeking a Senior AI Product Manager to own and scale Scale's Coding portfolio. In this role, you will define the strategy, roadmap, and operational excellence of Scale's coding data products, RL environments, and agentic coding evaluations.

You will work across AI Product Management, ML Researchers, Engineering, Operations, and Go-To-Market teams to turn benchmark credibility into a durable, revenue-generating product line that leading labs depend on to train the next generation of software engineering agents.

Responsibilities:

• Own the roadmap and strategy for Scale's Coding portfolio
• Extend the SWE-Bench Pro and SWE Atlas franchises
• Facilitate exploration of the Coding domain and drive alignment among stakeholders
• Evaluate, prioritize, and operationalize new coding product proposals
• Define and manage the end-to-end coding product lifecycle
• Partner with ML researchers and senior software engineers to develop trustworthy task specifications
• Drive the roadmap for coding infrastructure
• Establish governance processes for data quality and contamination prevention
• Grow and steward the expert contributor network
• Own and grow external partnerships across the coding ecosystem
• Work directly with frontier AI labs and enterprise customers
• Track adoption, usage, and business outcomes
• Identify new coding capability areas
• Collaborate closely with GTM teams

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, consulting, or customer-facing technical roles
• Strong technical depth in software engineering
• Familiarity with coding models, benchmarks, and evaluation methods
• Experience building and scaling products
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience working with AI researchers, ML teams, or developer tools
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Bias for action and comfort operating in fast-moving environments
• Passion for advancing AI coding capability

Compensation packages include base salary, equity, and benefits. The base salary range for this full-time position in San Francisco and New York is $205,600-$257,000 USD.
