Sr. Staff Experience Designer

As a Senior Staff Experience Designer at Airbnb, you will partner with cross-functional teams to build beautiful, usable, and forward-looking products that empower people. You will play a critical role in shaping Airbnb's presence in EMEA, Latin America, and APAC, ensuring global products feel truly local.

Responsibilities:

• Support and shape the evolution of the Airbnb platform from a design perspective
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, Researchers, and Writers to define problems and goals
• Influence leadership decision-making and define and solve complex problems autonomously
• Provide indirect leadership and mentorship to a team of designers
• Anticipate business challenges and create product solutions
• Build strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and progressive experience
• 12+ years of experience as a Designer/Design Leader
• Excellent visual and interaction design skills
• Ability to define design direction and process, and lead others through it
• Strong storytelling, presentation, and communication skills
• Experience designing platforms and systems, and managing and collaborating with research and writing disciplines
