Description
We are seeking a Principal Engineer - Fire to manage fire engineering services on projects of all scales. You will prepare fee proposals and manage projects, develop fire strategies for stations and associated buildings, conduct fire risk assessments, and liaise with design teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage fire engineering services on projects
- Prepare fee proposals and manage projects
- Develop fire strategies for stations and associated buildings
- Conduct fire risk assessments
- Liaise with design teams
- Peer review technical work
- Design fire safety systems
- Organise qualitative design reviews
- Occasional travel to UK offices and client sites
Requirements:
- BEng/BSc/MEng in Electrical/Mechanical/Fire Engineering
- Working towards IEng or CEng status
- Minimum 12 years of experience
- Strong proficiency in technical software such as HEVACOMP, AutoCAD, MEP Revit, MicroStation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
