Join the Bluespace CRM Platform Technology team within Deutsche Bank’s Client 360 Technology organisation as a VP Software Engineer. You will drive the evolution of strategic CRM for IB and CB sales professionals, contributing significantly to a re-engineering initiative from a tech stack perspective while transforming how sales teams engage with clients through cutting-edge, AI-driven solutions.
You will be instrumental in designing, building, and delivering innovative technology that directly impacts revenue generation and client satisfaction across our global sales force. This role is ideal for a talented and ambitious engineer eager to make a tangible impact, contribute hands-on, and grow into a mentorship position, assisting in the development of junior engineers.
Your key responsibilities
- Hands-on Engineering & Architectural Vision: Be a lead hands-on contributor, actively involved in the design, development, and implementation of highly performant and scalable software solutions.
- AI-Driven Innovation & Implementation: Conceptualise and build AI-powered tools and features for our FIC sales teams, leveraging AI software development toolkits.
- Strategic Greenfield & Integration Leadership: Build new components from the ground up and strategically integrate existing solutions.
- Team Growth & Mentorship: Contribute to building technical capabilities, assist in hiring, and mentor junior developers.
- Front Office Expertise & Impact: Apply your deep understanding of front office technology and workflows to ensure solutions address the needs of IB & CB sales professionals.
- Collaborative Solution Design: Work closely with sales teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and define robust solutions.
- Adherence to Deutsche Bank's Engineering Principles and Standards: Embrace and promote Deutsche Bank's engineering principles, standards, and best practices.

Your skills and experience
- Strong track record as a Software Engineer with significant hands-on experience in delivering complex software solutions.
- Demonstrable experience working in front office technology within an investment bank.
- Proven ability in architectural design, with experience in defining and implementing robust, scalable architectures.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages, particularly Java or Kotlin.
- Strong experience in modern UI development using React.
- Experience with AI software development toolkits and AI/Machine Learning projects.
- Proven ability to contribute to technical initiatives, offer mentorship, and help cultivate team growth.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
