Engine Field Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Engine Field Service Technician to join our team in Rumst, Antwerpen, Belgium.

As an Engine Field Service Technician, you will perform maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on Cummins diesel engines at customer locations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Cummins diesel engines according to BENELUX standards
• Providing technical support for various applications, including industrial equipment and critical infrastructure such as data centers
• Traveling to customer locations in Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg, with occasional international assignments
• Performing service interventions, including inspections, fault analysis, and corrective actions to ensure optimal engine performance and reliability
• Adapting to varying assignment durations, including overnight stays and extended international projects
• Strictly adhering to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and following Cummins procedures
• Collaborating with internal service teams within the Diesel Business Unit (DBU)
• Participating in a 24/7 on-call roster to respond to urgent service requests

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in a field service role with expertise in troubleshooting and repairing industrial diesel engines (Cummins experience is a plus)
• Fluent Dutch and good command of English for documentation and reporting; knowledge of French is a plus
• Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly, including international assignments
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in using laptops, diagnostic software, and specialized service tools
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems (up to 1000 V) with the ability to diagnose and repair small electrical faults safely
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and a focus on continuous improvement

Salary: €48,000 - €72,000 per year
