Aide to Physical Therapist

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our team at Clifton-PS, located at 935 Allwood Rd, Clifton, New Jersey 07012.

As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will work alongside our licensed clinicians to build rapport, motivate, and assist patients during treatment. You will also be responsible for maintaining the clinic's cleanliness and covering receptionist duties as needed.

Once fully licensed and transitioned to a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, plan, and implement treatment programs for patients referred by physicians. You will have the opportunity to treat a variety of specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neuralgic, and sports medicine patients.

Success Looks Like

• Successfully obtain state licensure to transition to clinical role
• Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have the ability to exceed their functional goals
• Ability to treat 60 patients per week
• Demonstrate a desire to positively connect with people
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the community

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Graduate of APTA or CAPTE approved physical therapy program to transition to physical therapist role
• Must obtain PT State licensure to transition to physical therapist role

Compensation & Bonus Structure

• Base Salary: $16.00/hr
