Physical Therapist, Outpatient Pediatrics

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Pediatrics team at Advocate Health in Winston Salem, NC. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting optimal physical function.

Job Summary: As a Physical Therapist in our Outpatient Pediatrics department, you will assess and treat patients with various physical disabilities and conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, with the goal of improving patient outcomes and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring comprehensive and functional evaluations and treatments according to the Standard of Practice
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with realistic goals, and encourage patients and their families to set and achieve goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes
• Supervise support staff and provide direction and feedback
• Participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services
• Promote professional development and education of other healthcare workers
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers
• Provide patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines

Requirements:

• B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from an accredited physical therapy school
• Current licensure in the state of North Carolina
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C
• Previous hospital experience preferred

• Competitive salary range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour

Schedule:

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, with one 4-hour Saturday shift every 8 weeks
