Description
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Diesel Engine Technician to join our team in Round Rock, TX, specializing in engine repairs for our Distribution Business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing repairs and rebuilds on engine products in the field, developing productive customer relations, and ensuring prompt and efficient attention to customer needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing repairs and rebuilds on engine products in the field
- Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Applying documented procedures and policies to complete repairs and schedule maintenance
- Preparing required parts and tools
- Assisting with completion of required documentation
- Completing training in line with skill and business requirements
- Ensuring adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Basic level field service work experience
- Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
- High Voltage/Low Voltage experience
- Customer service experience
- Apprentice Certified Power Generation/Electrical Technician (Preferred)
- Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution
- Current relevant electrical certification
- Locally valid driving permit
We offer a competitive salary range of $56,800 - $85,200 per year, a $5,000 sign-on bonus for external hires, and a comprehensive benefits package.
This role requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations. The successful candidate must be at least 21 years of age and pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
