Senior Product Designer

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team at Electronic Arts in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a Senior Product Designer, you will be a foundational member of the design team, responsible for owning outcomes, design practices, and quality standards across several vertical and horizontal teams.

You will lead solution discovery, design highly polished experiences, and collaborate closely with adjacent teams to align with our overall product vision. This is a unique opportunity to be a founding member of the design team and help define the future of interactive entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own Team-Level Outcomes: Act as the primary design driver for your vertical/horizontal team or core initiative, owning domain outcomes and delivering end-to-end design solutions with minimal supervision.
• Influence Your Problem Space: Run discovery activities and collaborative workshops to shape and influence the product direction of your specific problem space.
• Bridge Cross-Functional Partners: Represent and articulate the Design Team's values, processes, and design rationales to cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, and Architecture.
• Deliver High-Craft Experiences: Design intuitive, elegant, and precise user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes using established design systems and cutting-edge design tools (including AI-assisted workflows).
• Support the Craft: Actively participate in peer design feedback and critiques, sharing domain knowledge and helping to maintain a high-quality bar across the wider design team.

Qualifications:

• 5–8 years of professional experience in product design, UX/UI, or related fields.
• Proven experience independently owning design outcomes and practices for a dedicated vertical team or complex platform features.
• Demonstrated proficiency in human-centered design frameworks, rapidly prototyping ideas, and using data/feedback to iterate on designs.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain design decisions, align stakeholders, and manage tactical trade-offs.
• Experience organizing and running discovery workshops or design sprints in a collaborative team environment.
• Passionate about gaming: A strong love for games, with an excitement for bridging traditional product design with the future of interactive entertainment and creator platforms.
