Description
We are seeking an Operations Expert, AVP to join our Margin Operations team at Deutsche Bank in Jaipur, India.
The team is responsible for minimizing Deutsche Bank's counterparty credit risk on its collateralized derivatives portfolio, aggregating the Bank's exposure across trading activity globally, administering margin terms, and facilitating exchange of permissible collateral with clients or central clearing counterparties.
Your key responsibilities
- Be a central point of contact for external clients on valuations and respond to their queries/disputes in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with Trading, Sales, Product control, and Middle Office to resolve escalated customer inquiries and disputes
- Close interaction with regional and global teams to ensure consistency in procedures and policy
- Manage risks relating to specific processes and identify any deviations from established policies and guidelines
- Re-engineer the current process to meet the changing needs of the business
- Monitor KPIs and KRIs of the process
- Lead and contribute to Global initiatives
Your skills and experience
- Strong organisational skills; ability to identify and prioritise multiple tasks
- Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation
- Independent problem solver who demonstrates accountability and execution capability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
- Degree educated in Finance, Commerce or related field, or have a minimum of 6 years of work experience in a Banking/Finance environment
- Experience working in a global, cross matrix reporting organization
- Detailed understanding of Derivatives, Trade Life Cycle, UnCleared Margin Rules, reconciliations, and settlements processes
- Microsoft Excel skills to a good standard
- Knowledge of TriResolve, Acadiasoft is a must
- Knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, and other self-service analytical and data interpretation tools will be an advantage
