Global Operations Associate

The role of the Operations Associate is a critical part of making Flexport's mission to make global trade easy for everyone a reality. In this role, your direct customers are the partners within your region: our account management and customs teams, subcontractors, carriers, terminals and trucking providers. Your work directly supports Flexport's end customers in achieving their logistics goals.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure shipments move on-time and exceptions are handled appropriately
• Satisfy internal KPIs and SLAs that demonstrate quality delivery
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Solve client issues quickly and ensure smooth operations at origin and destination
• Coordinate day-to-day logistics operations with internal and external partners
• Execute the end-to-end movement of freight shipments within a regional network

Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree or completed professional training as forwarding agent
• 1-2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Able to adapt to new technology and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Effective time management, prioritization, and task management
• Attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Orientation towards working smarter and adopting best practices
• Problem-solving capabilities

The base gross salary (RAL) range for this position is €28,000-€38,500 EUR.
