Description
As a Bilingual (French/English) Paraprofessional with The Menta Education Group, you will work with classroom instructors and staff to offer targeted teaching and support to students in the classroom, as well as general support for all students in the school.
The role involves working in small, self-contained rooms with a maximum of 10 students. The hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, following a school calendar. This is a direct hire position with the school, with the expectation of returning school year after school year (no annual contract).
The salary for this position ranges from USD 17.97 to 27.06 per hour.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both French and English
- Military veterans are encouraged to apply
- Ability to operate tactfully under stress
- Flexibility to change in routines
- At least 23 years of age
- Ability to work with high-risk special needs students
- Good driving record and willingness to drive a student van (strongly preferred)
