Business Development Specialist

As a Business Development Specialist at Red Bull in New York, you will assist the Business Development Manager in expanding product availability through conducting audits, capturing in-store insights, and supporting the implementation of changes in-store to increase brand visibility and sales growth.

Your main priority will be capturing information on the current state of your territory through the audit process and then developing accounts across all segments of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily account audits to assess the overall state of business, including beverage availability, energy drink availability, and distribution preferences.
• Capture insights to help identify areas for improvement, such as optimising SKU availability or cold equipment.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to the leadership team regarding competitive threats and business opportunities.
• Utilise audit tools to report on in-store metrics and perform management-assigned tasks.
• Identify alternative market routes for potential future distribution agreements and work locally to finalise and accelerate distribution processes.
• Take charge of a designated account base within a specified geographic area and build strong relationships with new customers.
• Enhance execution standards by prioritising the availability of the appropriate product assortment.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in the beverage industry, gastronomy, hospitality and catering, marketing, sales, or as your own boss.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Commercial awareness and basic understanding of commercial math.
• Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Fluency in English; additional languages an advantage.
