Description
You are an experienced software engineer with strong C++ skills and a solid foundation in 3D geometry, meshing, or related engineering workflows. You will work on the 3D editor in Ansys Electronics Desktop, helping improve geometry and meshing workflows for electromagnetic simulation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing 3D geometry algorithms that support modeling, validation, and meshing for electromagnetic simulation Contributing to AI/ML-driven capabilities for geometry validation, error detection, and workflow automation Building high-performance C++ software and Python-based automation tools Partnering with simulation engineers, product managers, QA, and developers to solve user workflow challenges Owning defined features from development through testing and delivery
In this role, you will have a significant impact on improving the quality, reliability, and usability of core geometry and meshing capabilities, reducing debugging time by creating clearer, more effective user workflows, and supporting thoughtful use of AI/ML in CAD and simulation environments.
