Ford's International Markets Group is elevating a brand-new, high-impact leadership role , and we're looking for a bold strategic mind to define it. Reporting directly to the Executive Director Of Strategy And Transformation and working shoulder-to-shoulder with the executive leadership team across Sales, Marketing, Ford Pro, and our aftersales teams, this is your chance to influence the strategic direction of an entire region.
Responsibilities
- Support setting the vision for where IMG needs to be now, near and far. Turning the strategic priorities into live workstreams delivering real results.
- Build growth strategies for business opportunities, and partner with skill-team leaders to create compelling business cases for critical bets that require capital investment.
- Lead the strategic response to one of the industry's biggest challenges: the rapid expansion of Chinese OEMs across IMG's footprint.
- Serve as IMG's strategic lead for enterprise AI adoption , identifying and prioritizing high-impact AI/ML opportunities that boost efficiency, customer experience, and growth, while partnering with global tech leaders on roadmap governance.
- Act as a thought partner to the IMG President, resolving structural capability gaps through continuous improvement approaches like the Five Whys methodology.
- Coordinate reviews that connect IMG's regional strategy to Ford's global corporate vision.

Qualifications
- 12–15+ years in corporate strategy, business transformation, or portfolio management within automotive, mobility, or heavy industry
- Proven experience managing fragmented, multi-market regions (APAC, ASEAN, Middle East, LatAm) balancing mature and emerging markets
- A track record leading major organizational redesigns , especially shifting decentralized markets toward hub-and-spoke models
- Commercial fluency in B2B fleets, connectivity/subscriptions, or aftersales
- Deep expertise in capital allocation, product lifecycle planning, and building airtight business cases
- A bias for agile, real-time decision-making over slow, traditional review cycles
- Strong predictive competitive modelling instincts and comfort with JV/distributor governance
- MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Economics, or Finance; Lean Six Sigma, Agile/Scrum, or advanced strategy credentials a strong plus
