Floor Lead (Retail) (Part-time)

The Floor Lead plays a pivotal role on the store leadership team, driving store success by upholding customer service standards, fostering team development, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

Customer:

• Lead by example and validate in-store customer experience
• Maximize results and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Ensure positive customer experience and promote services offerings
• Meet KPIs, including OPH and NPS (85%)

Operations:

• Participate in inventory and cycle counts
• Support back of house flow for in-store sales, phone sales, and BOPIS
• Maintain organizational integrity of stockroom and display inventory
• Use point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and other retail technology
• Mitigate internal, external, and administrative loss of product
• Identify and escalate opportunities, gaps, risks, and roadblocks

Merchandising:

• Participate in maintaining Mejuri's brand standards of visual presentation, cleanliness, and functionality
• Support validation of display forms, graphics, furniture, and decor items
• Coach and inform store team members on updates to Visual Merchandising standard practices
• Flag, identify, and action inefficiencies

People:

• Participate in onboarding new talent
• Validate regular and accurate assessment of team members against performance review criteria and KPIs
• Build healthy relationships with team members and establish a positive work environment
• Adhere to and validate policies and compliance practices

Requirements:

• Experience in a high-volume retail environment
• Adaptable with creative and quick thinking
• Excellent organization and analytical skills
• Critical thinking ability to identify challenges and develop action plans
• Physical requirements: ability to stand for 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
