Description
Sodexo is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic to join their Facility Maintenance team, working on a 2:1 roster, FIFO from Brisbane to Weipa.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in facility maintenance across domestic and commercial sectors, and possess relevant trade qualifications and certificates, including QBCC essential or ability to obtain.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working 14 days on, 7 days off, with 10-11 hour shifts in a physically active role
- Being a team player with a can-do attitude, flexible and focused on safety and service delivery
- Travelling safely to and from work
- Being physically fit and able to work long shifts in remote environments with extreme weather conditions
Requirements:
- Relevant trade qualification(s) and certificates
- QBCC essential or ability to obtain
- Ability to travel safely to and from work
- Physically fit and able to work long shifts (up to 11 hours)
- National Police Check (dated within the last 6 months)
- Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
- Previous kitchen experience preferred but not essential
