Description
We are seeking a results-driven Theater Teacher to join our community of educators who are passionate about providing a fun, rigorous, and whole-child education to our students.
As a Theater Teacher at Success Academy, you will build a classroom culture in which scholars develop a love of theater, collaborate with Theater Teachers across the network to build a world-class theater program, engage in training with school leaders, and design and execute professional-quality performance opportunities for all scholars.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Professional training in a rigorous theater program or extensive professional performance credit
- A passion for theater and learning, and for working with children and implementing effective theater instruction
- Experience setting ambitious goals for yourself and others, and achieving them
- Confidence and presence
- Leadership experience
- Strong attention to detail and experience juggling multiple responsibilities
- Experience working with a group of children
