Mechanical Design Engineer

TGR Haas F1 Team, a stalwart of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Maranello, Italy.

The role involves designing F1 chassis-related components and mechanical assemblies, studying and designing components through solid modeling, surface modeling, and 2D drawing to obtain high-performance, reliable solutions and optimized sizing.

Key responsibilities:

• Design of F1 chassis-related components and mechanical assemblies
• Study and design of components through solid modeling, surface modeling, and 2D drawing
• Ensure high standards of service, compliance, and performance
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared goals
• Adhere to organisational policies and procedures

Requirements:

• GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent required
• Mechanical Engineering Degree desired
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience, 1 of which must be in a professional motorsports' environment (F1 preferred)
• Excellent understanding of English language
• Strong technical background in racing car

The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD Systems such as CATIA V5/V6 and PLM Windchill/3DX.
