Dishwasher - Full Time PM Shifts - Holiday Inn Dulles -starting at $17/hr

The Holiday Inn Dulles is seeking a PM Shift Dishwasher. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishware and equipment, adhering to health regulations, and ensuring high standards of quality for guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the dish machine, ensuring minimum temperature requirements are met, and clean the dishwasher regularly.
• Perform general cleaning tasks, including trash removal, breaking down boxes, and maintaining floors.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and quarterly power sprays of the kitchen.
• Provide excellent guest service, anticipating and responding to varying levels of business.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and adhere to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following Holiday Inn procedures and regulations.
• Produce the required volume of work by planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks.
• Attend all required department and hotel meetings.
• Assist with plating for banquet events and other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Some high school coursework required.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
• Prior dishwashing experience preferred.
