Experienced Teacher

We are hiring an experienced teacher to join our founding team in Miami-Dade, Florida.

As a teacher at Success Academy, you will play a part in giving every student a fair shot at reaching their potential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues and leaders to strengthen instruction and student outcomes.
• Serve as an ambassador of SA's Adult Winning Culture.
• Engage and invest families in students' academic growth, behavior, and overall success.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with students and a classroom culture of joy, rigor, and high expectations.
• Deeply study the SA curriculum, assignments, and learning goals.
• Deliver rigorous, engaging instruction that drives mastery of the content.
• Regularly study student work and assessment data to evaluate learning.
• Reflect honestly on results, identify changes needed in your own practice, and work with urgency to improve.
• Provide timely, actionable feedback that strengthens students' thinking and performance.
• Lead and manage a classroom of 25+ students.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree before your first day of work with Success Academy.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for learning and commitment to student development.
• Ability to work in person in Miami, Florida.
