Description
We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our team in making it easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to get and stay healthy.
As a Pharmacist, you will be involved in the operation of our pharmacy, handling tasks such as dispensing medications, managing prescription fulfillment, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication quality assurance for all packet and bulk dispenses
- Collaborate with other staff pharmacists to ensure thorough quality assurance checks
- Complete ancillary housekeeping pharmacy tasks, including checking returns and overseeing medication substitutions
- Answer clinical questions and provide clinical guidance
- Investigate errors and facilitate proper resolution and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, Federal/State laws, rules, and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or PharmD Degree
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in West Virginia and others upon request
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
- Exemplary interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to perform basic computer functions
- Warehouse work, including lifting 20lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in LTC or Retail Setting
- Excellent Communication skills
