Description

Electronic Arts is seeking a Development Manager (Project Manager) to join the FC Live Platform Operations team. The successful candidate will report to a Development Director and play a critical role in ensuring the team's projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The Platform Operations team is responsible for monitoring the health of the FC Live service, driving actions when KPIs are off-target, and facilitating the annual launch of FC. This team works onsite in Vancouver 3 days/week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Key responsibilities:

  • Execute project planning and management, project reporting, and project risk management for the EA SPORTS FC Live Platform Operations team.
  • Work with the FC Launch Director to prepare for and facilitate the launch of the next FC title.
  • Solve problems, balance priorities, and find creative solutions to achieve results.
  • Support the team in executing against milestones and key deliverables.
  • Keep the team and partners’ teams informed on development results, schedule, and changes.
  • Identify and drive effective, measurable process improvements to support the team's delivery and execution.
  • People manage a team of engineering direct reports, playing a critical role in supporting them in their career development and growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Project Management or Project Lead Experience with production lifecycles, processes, and project planning.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and focused on quality.
  • Ability to rationalize decisions in a clear and objective manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, tailoring communications to the specific audience.
  • Excellent stakeholder and conflict management skills.
  • Excellent people manager skills, with a demonstrable track record of supporting direct reports in their professional development.
